Welcome to Journey Toward Purpose Counseling.

I was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley and then attended St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas and received my undergraduate degree. St. Edward’s taught me the importance of embracing all people and culture. I received my Master’s Degree in Counseling at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. I dedicated 28 years in the public school system as a teacher, coach, and school counselor. I have worked with all age groups beginning at the age of 5 to 18 years of age in the public school setting and clinical setting. I am open to working with children, teens, and adults. I consider myself an eclectic counselor who tailors to the individual needs of the client.
